The Lee Factory Crimp Die for the 6.8mm Remington SPC adds a separate crimping step after the bullet is seated. It crimps the bullet firmly in the case neck, which can give more uniform start pressure and help reduce velocity variation, even with bullets that have no crimp groove. A useful addition for semi-automatic rifle loads or where a firm crimp is wanted.
