The Lee Factory Crimp Die for the 7mm-08 Remington provides a separate crimping stage after bullet seating. It holds the bullet firmly in the neck of the case so pressure builds more uniformly, which helps limit velocity variation, and it works on bullets with no crimp groove. Useful where a short magazine prevents you seating the bullet out to the rifling.
