This Lee Factory Crimp Die is listed for the 7mm Express and .280 Remington, along with the .280 Ackley Improved variants. It is a separate crimping die used once the bullet is seated, holding it firmly in the case neck for more uniform start pressure and less velocity variation. It works on bullets whether or not they have a crimp groove.
