Lee Universal Decapping Die - Deprimes Almost Any Calibre

The Lee Universal Decapping Die strips spent primers from almost any rifle or pistol case without resizing the brass, so you can deprime first and clean afterwards. Because it only pushes the primer out and never touches the case body, there is no need to lubricate or clean cases beforehand - handy when you are processing range or field brass straight into the workflow. It handles boxer-primed cases up to .560in in diameter and up to 3.125in long, covering the bulk of common stalking and target calibres from .22 upward (it is not recommended for .17 to .20 calibre cases). The hardened decapping pin even pushes out stubborn crimped-in primers, and shell holders simply swap to move between cartridges. The die uses the standard 7/8in-14 thread, so it screws straight into Lee, RCBS, Hornady, Lyman and other common single-stage and turret presses. For tricky calibres, Lee's heavy-duty guided decappers can be fitted to help align the case and reduce the risk of bending a pin. Shell holders are sold separately.
