The Leofoto MP-364C is a four-section carbon fibre monopod built for photographers, birdwatchers and stalkers who need solid support for a heavy lens, spotting scope or camera body without carrying a full tripod. Made from cross-woven, reinforced carbon fibre with a maximum leg diameter of 36mm tapering to 25mm, it extends to a working height of 1700mm without a head fitted and folds down to just 545mm for the rucksack or gun slip. Despite the 20kg load rating — enough for most professional camera and lens combinations, or a stabilised spotting scope — it weighs only 584g. The four leg sections lock and release with a simple twist action, and the upper section carries a rubber foam grip to keep hands warm on a cold hillside. A combined 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch screw on the top plate takes most ball heads directly, including Leofoto's own VH-10, and the monopod will also mount to the optional VD-02 tripod base for hands-free use. The standard rubber foot can be swapped for a stainless steel spike for better grip on soft or uneven ground, and a metal bracket with wrist strap guards against drops.
