The Leofoto MP-365C is a five-section carbon fibre monopod aimed at photographers, birdwatchers and stalkers who need a strong, packable support for long lenses, spotting scopes or cameras in the field. Built from Toray 100% ten-layer carbon fibre with a cross rhombus tube structure, it keeps vibration to a minimum while staying light — just 598g — and folds to a compact 495mm for a rucksack or gun slip. Extended, it reaches a working height of 1755mm without a head fitted, and the 17kg load rating covers most professional camera/lens set-ups or a stabilised spotting scope. The leg lock system needs only a quarter turn to release or secure each of the five sections, and one-piece shims give a more reliable, lower-maintenance joint than the two-piece type used on cheaper monopods. A silicone handle offers a firm, waterproof grip even in gloves, backed up by a rotating wrist strap for extra security when carrying. The removable rubber foot can be swapped for a steel claw or spike depending on the ground, and the top plate's combined 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch thread takes most ball heads directly.
