The Muck Boots Derwent II is an all-purpose field boot built for muddy, wet ground rather than the work site — the boot Muck itself pitches at dog walking, gardening and light farm tasks. The upper is 100% waterproof rubber with a scuba-grade neoprene lining, so it keeps feet dry from sole to top rather than merely showerproof. 4mm neoprene gives flexible, self-insulating warmth, while a breathable PK mesh lining stops feet overheating on milder days. The toe and ankle areas are reinforced for extra durability against knocks and wear, and a steel shank underfoot adds structural support and a stable platform for walking uneven, muddy terrain. The MS2 bobbed, moulded rubber outsole carries an aggressive tread for grip in mud and wet grass. Mid-height with a pull-tab, the Derwent II goes on and off easily and suits everyday countryside jobs — kennel rounds, larder work, feeding and general dog walking or garden duty — where a comfortable, genuinely waterproof boot matters more than heavy-duty protection.
