Built on the patented RazorSafe system, a spent blade is swapped in seconds without tools, which matters when your hands are wet and you are halfway through a beast. The knife blade is Japanese 420J2 stainless steel and the saw is chrome-coated 65Mn, both chosen to shrug off the corrosion that comes with blood and damp. Rubberised TPR handles over stainless liners give a secure hold in the cold, and the blade holder carries a black-oxide coating for extra protection. Overall length is around 8in and the tool weighs about 8.3oz, so it carries comfortably in the supplied nylon sheath. It accepts every 3.5in (350) RazorSafe blade and ships with six blades in the box.
