Phillips English Walnut Oil is a traditional stock-finishing preparation for walnut-stocked rifles and shotguns. Based on natural English walnut oil, it is chemically blended with special driers and sealants to create a polishing oil that is absorbed directly into the wood, sealing the grain and drying to a clean, natural sheen. Apply a small amount — roughly the size of a 5p piece — onto the palm of your hand and rub it well into the stock; the warmth of your hand helps the oil penetrate the timber and work into the grain. Suitable for use on shotgun, rifle and air-rifle stocks, it can be used for a full refinish or for touching up and maintaining an existing oil finish to keep it looking its best. The 60ml glass bottle goes a long way, as very little is needed per application. A straightforward, time-tested product made in the UK for anyone who takes pride in the condition of their walnut woodwork.
