Sierra designed this mid-weight, high ballistic coefficient bullet to fill the gap for the 6.5mm long-range shooter, giving a longer ogive, small meplat and refined boat tail that preserve downrange efficiency, sharpen accuracy and cut wind drift. The thin jacket is held to exacting tolerances in diameter and weight, and the G1 ballistic coefficient runs to 0.510 with a sectional density of 0.252.
