The Sierra Tipped GameKing (TGK) is a 6mm (.243 calibre) 90 grain component bullet from Sierra's GameChanger range, supplied in boxes of 50 for handloaders. Built on Sierra's proven MatchKing boat-tail platform, it is re-engineered with a hollow point core and finished with a distinctive green polymer tip for consistent ballistic performance. The open pocket beneath the tip allows the lead core to expand rapidly on impact, while a carefully controlled copper jacket wall thickness governs expansion and retains weight through to the target, giving reliable penetration on deer-sized quarry. The tuned ogive and boat tail design combine for a high ballistic coefficient (G1 BC 0.490), keeping the bullet flying flat and true at extended ranges. Recommended for barrels with a twist rate of 9 inches or faster. Supplied as bullets only for use in reloading .243 Winchester and similar 6mm cartridges — this is not loaded ammunition and contains no primer, case or propellant.
