The Sitka Core Merino 120 LS Crew is a long-sleeve crew-neck base layer top built for early-season hunting, cut from an ultralight 120-gram, 17.5-micron ArmorSpun merino wool blend that regulates temperature through changing conditions and naturally resists odour to help keep your scent down. It's Sitka's lightest merino layer, light enough to wear alone on a warm day or as an unobtrusive first layer beneath a jacket once conditions turn. Snag-preventative stitching along the sleeves resists abrasion from pack straps, and low-profile integrated thumb holes keep the cuffs in place through layering without bunching. Despite the lightweight feel, the merino blend is genuinely easy-care and can go through a normal wash and dry cycle rather than needing hand-washing like traditional wool. This version comes in Sitka's GORE Optifade Waterfowl Timber concealment pattern, developed for close-range work in flooded timber and from tree stands, using a darker, high-contrast scale-based pattern to stay hidden as birds or deer close the distance.
