The Sitka Stormfront GTX is a fully waterproof shell glove built for the wettest, coldest days on the hill. Its three-layer GORE-TEX shell is seam-taped, so there is no separate waterproof liner adding bulk — the result is a glove that keeps rain out while staying breathable and dexterous enough to work a bolt or thumb a safety. A removable high-loft fleece liner glove handles genuinely cold conditions, and because it lifts straight out you can swap it for another Sitka liner or wear the shell alone in milder weather. Synthetic palm and finger panels give grip and feel on a rifle forend or shooting sticks, an elasticated wrist adjustment seals the fit, and the short gauntlet tucks neatly under the cuff of a rain jacket so water cannot run down inside. The GORE OPTIFADE Subalpine pattern is designed for stalking deer at ground level in wooded and vegetated terrain at ranges of 50 yards and under, making this a strong match for woodland stalking through a British winter.
