The SnowPeak SP500 is a spring-powered, break-barrel air pistol built for budget plinking and informal target shooting. It uses a simple single-shot action cocked by breaking the barrel, so there is no CO2, gas or air cylinder to charge or refill — just load a pellet and shoot. Available in both .177 and .22 calibre, it has a synthetic grip with an ambidextrous layout and a manual safety, a zinc-plated piston and chamber, and an adjustable trigger pull. At around 37 cm long and roughly 0.9 kg it is compact and easy to handle. The SP500 is a low-power pistol intended for casual target work and plinking rather than hunting, and it is imported and supported in the UK by SMK.
