The Authentic Original is Sperry's original two-eye boat shoe, the silhouette the brand was built on, and it is still hand-sewn using traditional moccasin construction. In amaretto, a warm tan leather, the full-grain leather upper is finished to resist the effects of salt and fresh water for lasting wear, while the 360° Lacing System uses rust-proof eyelets and a single rawhide lace so the fit can be loosened or drawn in as needed. The genuine hand-sewn moccasin build moulds to the foot over time for broken-in comfort, and a cushioned insole with a shaped heel cup adds support through the day. Underfoot, Sperry's signature razor-cut Wave-Siping delivers the wet-and-dry traction the brand is known for, giving sure footing from a wet deck to dry ground, and the non-marking rubber outsole is stitched on for durability and flexibility.
