These Tipton Felt Cleaning Pellets are gun-bore cleaning consumables for .375 calibre rifles, supplied as a pack of 50. They are not ammunition: each pellet is made from compressed heavy felt and is pushed through the bore on a cleaning rod to carry out dirt, fouling and lead residue. Because the felt expands to fill the lands and grooves of the rifling, it gives a more consistent contact than a loose cleaning patch, which makes it tougher, more durable and quicker to use than wrapping patches by hand. The pack includes one calibre-correct nickel-plated jag to seat the pellets squarely on the rod, so you have what you need to start cleaning straight away. Run a pellet dry to push out loose fouling, or pair it with your usual bore solvent for a more thorough clean before storage. Used regularly, they help keep a .375 stalking or large-bore rifle shooting accurately and are a tidy, low-mess alternative to patches in the field or on the bench.
