Boxer Protection LITE is a flame-resistant base layer built for professional use, worn closest to the skin under certified outerwear. The material blends 60% merino wool with 38% Viscose FR and 2% antistatic fibre in Woolpower's thinnest fabric — a tighter 1:1 rib knit that conducts heat more readily than the brand's Ullfrotté Original, so it feels cooler even though it holds more wool. That makes it a genuine year-round base layer: warm when the temperature drops, breathable when it's not. All seams are flat-locked to prevent chafing. The garment is certified to EN 1149-5:2018 for antistatic protection and EN ISO 14116:2015 Index 3 for limited flame spread — wool itself is naturally flame resistant and doesn't melt, which helps reduce the risk of severe burns. For full protection, Woolpower recommend wearing the complete Protection range together with appropriately certified outerwear rather than relying on any one garment alone. Machine washable at 60°C and made in Sweden.
