The Woolpower Crewneck 200 is a mid-weight merino wool base layer designed to be worn next to the skin, or as a warming second layer in cold conditions. Knitted from Woolpower's own Ullfrotté Original 200 fabric, it uses a circular-knit construction with no lengthwise seams — seams that would otherwise chafe and are usually the first place a garment fails under load, such as beneath a rucksack or gun sling. Terry loops on the inside of the fabric trap air against the skin for insulation while moving moisture away from the body as you work. The back is cut longer than the front, so it stays tucked in and covers the lower back when bending, climbing or sitting still. The neck is a simple round crew, and the cuffs are knitted into the sleeve ends rather than sewn on, so they sit snugly without digging in. The fabric blends 60% merino wool with 25% polyester, 13% polyamide and 2% elastane, giving the stretch and durability to stand up to repeated wear on the hill. Made in Sweden.
