The Woolpower Crewneck Protection LITE is a flame-resistant crew-neck base layer built for anyone working or spending long spells outdoors around flame, arc-flash or static risk, from muzzleloading to open-fire and vehicle work on the estate, while still doing the job of a warm, comfortable first layer year-round. It is the thinnest fabric in Woolpower's certified Protection range, knitted from 60% merino wool with 38% Viscose FR and 2% antistatic fibre in a flexible 1:1 rib construction designed to sit closest to the skin. Wool's natural flame resistance means it does not melt against the body, and the garment is certified to EN ISO 11612:2015 (A1, B1, C1) for flame protection, IEC 61482-2:2018 APC 1 (4kA) for electric arc, and EN 1149-5:2018 for antistatic properties, with an ATPV rating of 6.4 cal/cm². All seams are flat-locked to prevent chafing and the back is cut slightly longer to prevent gaps under a harness or workwear. Pre-shrunk and machine washable at 60°C, it is a genuine safety garment as well as a practical, warm base layer.
