The Woolpower Long Johns with Fly 400 are a heavyweight merino wool base layer built for the coldest days afield. Knitted from Woolpower's own Ullfrotté Original 400 fabric, thicker than the brand's 200-weight cloth, they are designed as a warming second layer over a lighter base when temperatures drop hard or activity is low, such as sitting up on a cold stalk or high seat. The circular-knitted construction leaves no lengthwise seams, so there is nothing to chafe under trousers or waterproofs during a long day out. A gusset across the back gives room to move without the garment pulling tight, and the fly opening adds practicality when layered up. Knitted-in cuffs and waistband keep everything in place rather than riding up.
