Zip Turtleneck Protection 400 is a heavy-duty flame-resistant mid layer knitted in Woolpower's thickest fabric, 400g Ullfrotté Original, for cold conditions and low-activity work where both warmth and FR protection matter. The long-sleeved turtleneck has a short zip at the neck for ventilation and no lengthwise body seams, with a longer back to prevent gaps when bending or reaching, and knitted-in cuffs to keep the sleeves in place. It's certified to EN ISO 11612:2015 (A1, B2, C2) for flame protection, IEC 61482-2:2018 APC 1 for arc protection (ATPV 34.3 cal/cm²) and EN 1149-5:2018 for antistatic performance — wool is naturally flame retardant and doesn't melt, which helps reduce the risk of severe burns. The material is 84% merino wool blended with elastane, antistatic fibre and aramid for durability. A size Medium weighs approximately 460g. Best worn as a second layer over a thinner base such as Woolpower LITE or Ullfrotté 200 for maximum benefit from the wool. Pre-shrunk and machine washable at 60°C.
