It slips onto the objective end of the scope and hinges open to clear the field of view completely when you are shooting — no interference with the sight picture. The hinge locks in any open position, suiting both left- and right-handed shooters, and the cap closes quickly and quietly to protect the objective from rain, snow, dust and knocks between shots or while moving through cover. Made to ZEISS's own standards, this cover is built for the long-term demands of hunting in varied weather and terrain.
