Zink's NBG (Nothing But Green) is a single reed duck call built specifically for greenhead hunters working mallards over open water or timber. Moulded from the same tooling as Zink's custom acrylic namesake, the polycarbonate body delivers the same tone and volume range at a lower price, with an easy-blow sound system that lets less experienced callers produce a convincing hail while still giving practised hands the range to work a wary drake in close. The Z-Cut, no-stick tone channel is the call's signature feature: it opens up a wide spread of tones, from a soft feed chuckle through to a full-volume hail call, while all but eliminating the reed lock that spoils cheaper single reed calls in cold or wet conditions. Blown right, the NBG recreates the layered sound of several hen mallards calling at once, an irresistible draw for greenheads working a decoy spread. This is the Gunsmoke colourway.
