The 345gsm 100% wool exterior is warm and hard-wearing in its own right, while the fully lined windproof inner layer with seam-sealed lining keeps out the wind and the worst of the rain, so you stay protected without losing the breathability wool is known for. The Olive/Black check gives useful concealment among trees and cover while still looking smart enough for the pub afterwards. It's a pullover style with a half-front placket and branded button closure, cut to the classic Swanndri bush shirt fit with room to layer underneath.
