The Viper-Flex Minor 2 is a pocket-sized, two-legged carbon fibre rest for hunters who want the steadiness of a bipod without the extra weight or forend imbalance that a fixed set of legs can bring. Handmade in Denmark, it sits beneath the rifle for prone or low-seated shots, giving a stable platform for zeroing or a longer wait on stand while keeping the barrel off wet ground. Each leg is telescopic, adjusting from 27.5cm to 36.5cm to suit the terrain and shooting position, and the rubber feet grip on both hard and soft surfaces. At just 160g it disappears into a jacket pocket or clips onto a binocular harness, so there's no bulk to carry once the rifle itself is set down on it. It suits grass, soil and other yielding ground best — on rock-hard surfaces such as a vehicle bed or concrete, a fixed bipod's spiked feet have the advantage. For extra stability on uneven ground, Viper-Flex's Single Leg Minor clips straight on, turning the Minor 2 into a self-standing three-point tripod.
