Britannia Rails

    Filter

UK-made Picatinny rails and rings, machined for specific actions rather than sold as a universal fit. That is the point of them: a rail cut for your action sits flat, uses the right screw spacing and does not need shimming.

      Rails by action

Tikka T3 and T3x · Bergara B14 short action and B14-R rimfire · Sako Quad and Finnfire 2 · CZ 600 medium action / CZ 600 II · CZ 527 standard · Anschutz Match 64 (dovetail fit) · Henry Big Boy and X-Model in pistol calibre. There is also a Picatinny riser for flat-top rifles that need the optic lifted.

What to get right before ordering

      • The exact action, not just the brand. A T3 rail is not a CZ 600 rail, and a short action is not a long action. Check the receiver, not the box the rifle came in.
      • MOA. Most of these are 0 MOA, which is the correct default for normal stalking and foxing distances. Only go to a canted rail if you are genuinely running out of elevation at range — otherwise you lose adjustment at the near end for nothing.
      • Ring height. Measure the objective bell and look at the comb of your stock. Britannia's QD Picatinny rings are 30mm, in high — a 1in or 34mm scope tube will not go in them.

Torque the screws to the maker's figure with a proper wrench rather than by feel, and re-zero after any remount, however careful you were.
