Nikwax TX.Direct Wash-In is the market-leading wash-in waterproofer for breathable waterproof garments such as shell jackets, overtrousers and technical outerwear. Added straight into a washing machine cycle, it's quick and easy to apply, and its Durable Water Repellency (DWR) develops naturally as the garment air dries afterwards. Because it's applied in the wash rather than sprayed on, the treatment reaches seams, tapes and cords as well as the main fabric, giving even coverage across the whole garment rather than just the outer surface. TX.Direct leaves a flexible, water-repellent finish on individual fibres, so moisture vapour can still escape and the fabric stays breathable rather than clammy. Because the DWR develops on air drying, there's no need to tumble dry afterwards, which saves energy and is gentler on older or more delicate garments that wouldn't tolerate high heat. This 100ml pack is the standard dose for a single garment, making it a convenient way to keep waterproofs performing at their best between wears in the field.
