The SmartRest SpydaBot Sting H2O is a magnetic, roof-mounted pedestal that carries and controls a thermal or night vision camera from outside the vehicle while you operate it from within. Six magnetic legs, arranged in a wide footprint around the central unit, hold the pedestal securely to the bonnet or roof of a vehicle, even over rough or uneven ground. Once mounted, the SpydaBot is a wireless remote-controlled robotic unit — the pan and tilt of the attached camera can be driven from inside the cab, with a live feed streamed wirelessly to a phone or smart screen so you can watch and steer without stepping outside. A quick-release Arca-to-Picatinny mount lets you attach or swap a thermal or night vision optic in seconds. SmartRest recommend pairing the SpydaBot with their Dual Mount fitting and Laser pointer accessory, which gives a simple directional reference for the thermal image at night.
