The Outback is Hard Yakka's safety version of its dealer boot, built with a PU/TPU construction and a water-resistant, full-grain premium oiled leather upper in black. As supplied to BushWear, it is certified to EN ISO 20345:2022 S3 SRC, and carries a steel toe cap rated to withstand 200 joules of impact, along with a non-metallic puncture-resistant plate underfoot and an SRC-rated slip-resistant outsole for secure footing on wet or greasy ground. The boot is also anti-static, reducing the build-up of static electricity as a safeguard against ignition hazards. Inside, REPREVE recycled linings sit against a premium 1.8–2mm leather counter, and a PU/memory foam footbed moulds to the individual foot for comfort through a long shift. A Kickguard toe protector adds further protection at the front of the boot, twin elastic gore panels and extra-long pull loops make it quick to get on and off, and it's built on a pre-consumer recycled TPU outsole. Hard Yakka positions the Outback for farming and agriculture, general trades and weekend use — a proper certified safety boot in a Chelsea dealer-boot shape rather than a traditional lace-up.
