The Lee Collet 2-Die Set for .17 Remington is designed for reloaders who want to maximise case life and keep their ammunition as accurate as possible. Unlike full-length sizing dies, the collet neck-sizing die works by drawing a steel mandrel through the case neck using a collet that grips from the outside, sizing only the neck and leaving the body fireformed to the chamber. The result is minimal brass work-hardening, straighter case necks, and reduced run-out — all of which translate directly into tighter groups downrange. The companion dead-length bullet seating die seats projectiles without crimping, setting bullet depth precisely and repeatably. Both dies use the standard 7/8 inch–14 thread and are compatible with any standard single-stage, turret or progressive press. The set ships with a shell holder, powder measure and charge table, so you have everything needed to load the slender .17 Remington straight from the box.
