This version is set up for 243 Winchester and includes a sizing/decapping die, a decapping chamber and rod, a combined bullet-seating and priming chamber with priming rod, a powder measure scoop and a load data card, all packed in a plastic storage case with full instructions. A rubber, plastic or wood mallet is needed to drive the tools but is not included and is easily sourced from a hardware shop. The Classic Lee Loader neck-sizes cases only rather than full-length resizing them, so it suits reloading brass that has been fired in, and will be fired back into, the same rifle — Lee does not recommend it for semi-auto, pump-action or lever-action rifles, which need full-length sized ammunition to feed reliably. For a bolt-action 243, a popular UK calibre for deer and fox work, it offers a compact, low-cost way to keep a small batch of once-fired brass going without a press or a bench.
