Viper's Shoulder Comfort Pads are a simple, effective fix for one of the most common gripes on a long day out: strap dig from a loaded vest or pack. Made from padded Ventex material, each pad wraps around a shoulder strap and stays put, spreading the load across a wider area of the shoulder so the weight of a rig, chest vest or rucksack no longer bites in through a thin strap. Sold as a pair in Green to match Viper's core olive-drab kit, they're a quick retrofit for straps that weren't padded to begin with, whether that's a plate carrier, a stalking pack or a general daysack. Compact at 25 x 7 x 2cm, they add cushioning without bulking the load out or interfering with how the vest or pack sits. For anyone who spends hours carrying a loaded rig or pack on the hill or on exercise, they're a cheap way to make existing kit noticeably more comfortable.
