The Viper Tactical Carabina is a lightweight, tough utility clip built for attaching gear to rucksacks, bergens, belts and load-carrying vests rather than for climbing or load-bearing use. Moulded from durable ABS plastic, each carabiner has a spring-loaded, non-locking gate with a wide opening for quick one-handed clipping and unclipping, and the body is shaped to attach through MOLLE webbing at three separate points for a secure, low-rattle fit. At roughly 9cm by 5cm and weighing around 49g, the pair is light enough to carry several without adding noticeable bulk to a pack or belt kit. Typical uses include securing water bottles, pouches, gloves, torches or other loose kit to the outside of a rucksack, clipping keys or a whistle to a belt loop, or steadying gear during a river crossing when both hands are needed elsewhere.
