Birchwood Casey's Lead Remover and Polishing Cloth is a treated cloth designed to strip leading, burn rings, carbon and copper fouling, plastic wad residue, rust and tarnish from metal surfaces and bring back their original lustre. It is safe to use on stainless steel, nickel and most other metal finishes, making it suitable for handguns, rifles, shotguns and muzzleloaders alike. Supplied at 6in x 9in, the cloth can be used as a full sheet for a general wipe-down and polish, or cut down to size for detail work inside a chamber, cylinder, forcing cone, bore or choke where a bulkier tool would not reach. Beyond firearms, the same cloth cleans and polishes wood, metal and porcelain surfaces, so it earns its place in a sporting equipment kit as well as around the home or workshop. It is a simple, no-solvent way to keep a gun looking cared for between full strip cleans, and a useful addition alongside brushes and patches in any cleaning kit.
