The SME Sight-Rite Chamber Cartridge Laser Bore Sighter for .270 Winchester, .30-06 Springfield and .25-06 Remington is a precision-machined brass bore sighter that seats in the rifle's chamber like a dummy round. All three of these popular calibres share the same parent .30-06 case head, meaning a single unit delivers an exact-fit platform across all three chamberings. A high-output laser beam projects from the muzzle, enabling the shooter to align a riflescope or open sights on a target at the intended zeroing distance without firing. The laser is factory-aligned and ready to use with no adjustment required; batteries are included in the box. Getting a rough scope alignment on the bench before heading to the range is particularly useful when a new scope has been fitted or when returning to a rifle that has been stripped for cleaning.
