The Océane is Le Chameau's reinforced thigh boot for sea professionals working ashore and in shallow water. Each pair is handcrafted from start to finish by a Le Chameau master bootmaker in the brand's saltwater-resistant natural Chamolux rubber and tested to make sure it is 100% waterproof. The boot is reinforced with aramid fibres for robustness, and a dual-density, self-cleaning Michelin sole gives strong grip and resistance to abrasion on slipways, rocks and wet decks. Inside, a jersey Ponti lining gives comfortable ventilation, keeps feet warm down to around 5°C and dries quickly, so the boots are ready to go again the next day. Please note that UK size 12.5 is fitted with the Grip sole rather than the Michelin sole, and the Océane thigh boots are sold without belt straps.
